Adamo-Faiden is an architectural office established in Buenos Aires, in 2005 by Sebastián Adamo and Marcelo Faiden. They both completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Buenos Aires and postgraduate studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya. Its practice extends to the field of teaching and reserch, and has been internationally recognized by different media and institutions.
Their work were exhibited at the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the Guggenheim Museum, the Storefront for Art & Architecture in New York and at LIGA Architecture Gallery in México, among others. They were invited to teach and lecture at numerous institutions including the Royal Institute of British Architects in London, the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, the École Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne, the Fondazione dell’Ordine degli Architetti in Milán, the Polytechnic School of Architecture in Madrid, the Escola da Cidade in Sao Paulo and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
The work of Adamo-Faiden have been compiled into four monographs published in Italy, Spain, Chile and Argentina. They are founding directors of the “Taller de Actualización de Técnicas Proyectuales” (Update Workshop on Design Techniques) a postgraduate program where academic knowledge gets organized to rewrite present-day.
